Meet Melissa
Melissa Laurencelle is an alumnus of the Maine College of Art with a BFA and major in Graphic Design. In her practice Melissa
uses various skills along side design to strengthen it such
as photography and illustration. She likes to work hands on and
try new ways of working regularly.
In the summer of 2017 Melissa worked with Islandport Press
in Yarmouth, Maine. There she worked on a wide range of projects
and designed a style guide for Islandport Press to keep consistency
with their book design. She has also worked with Proactive
Resources Design in Portland, Maine to rebrand their identity.
Currently she is working as a freelance designer.
Meet Ash
Melissa’s cat and design assistant. He is very
vocal when giving feedback, he never has to be
asked, he knows when something needs to be said.
Ash has excellent social skills and enjoys making
new friends. His favorite place to meet people,
or dogs, is the park.
Meet Kiwi
Melissa's second cat and design assistant. Being
the little brother, Kiwi is a bit more rambunctious.
His idea of an artistic studio set up tends to end with
most supplies on the floor or hidden in a secret
stash. He tends to favor more playful designs and
will purr in approval. Kiwi is always looking for
snuggles and belly rubs.
